Full-Time Registered Nurse Job in Minneapolis, MN
Pinnacle Services Inc. has a need for a Registered Nurse. This is a full-time salaried position with a full benefits package.
Pinnacle Services provides a spectrum of services, including customized living and home care for individuals who are mentally ill, have developmental disabilities, or other health issues. These individuals live at sites owned and managed by Pinnacle Services, or live in their own private homes that we go into to provide services. The right candidate will help to comply with regulations, treat clients safely and with dignity, and ensure caregivers are providing services of the highest quality.
The RN would be a part of a small established nursing team, and the position entails visiting with clients and assessing their needs, and then creating customized care plans which may include providing medication and behavior management. There is usually no heavy lifting, incontinence or wound care. Our clients are ambulatory, and do not currently have high medical needs. While we sometimes call it “nursing lite,” know that your interactions with clients and their team are important and can be very rewarding.
We are looking for someone who will be able to work daytime hours during the week, and be on call in the evenings. Every three to four weekends would be an on-call weekend, but this is scheduled flexibly with the other nurses. Being on-call means that you will be able to receive questions via phone, and very rarely requires a non-urgent visit to a consumer’s home.
Preferred: RN’s with knowledge and experience in skilled home health care, and/or MDH Comprehensive Home Care/DHS 245D licensing standards are preferred, however we are willing to train the right person. Experience with Medicare home care agency requirements and OASIS assessments is a plus.
Schedule: Full-time nurses will enjoy a flexible schedule. Full-time nurses are usually working during regular business hours, and are expected to be part of an on-call rotation for phone consultation.
