Pinnacle provides home cooked meal to families at the Children’s Hospital

RMD house 1.2016Volunteering at the Ronald McDonald house and providing a ‘home cooked’ meal for parents and siblings of children admitted to the Children’s Hospital of Minnesota was such a rewarding experience. To be part of a company who encourages and funds their employees to give back by volunteering their time and energy is so special to me.  Just watching the parents breath a sign of relief as they walked into the House realizing they didn’t have to take on one more responsibility or make one more decision that day.  All that was asked for was a thank you, no cooking, no cleaning, just enjoying a delicious hot bite of chili and corn bread, with a root beer float as a treat to go, and making their way back to the bedside of their sick child.  I hope the Ronald McDonald House is an organization Pinnacle Services continues to volunteer with over the next few years and my coworkers continue to experience the satisfaction I felt while giving back time and time again.
